5. Surveys

Campsie carry out surveys on all types of residential property. Surveys can take the form of valuation whether for mortgage providers or private individuals.

Surveys we offer are:

• Independent Survey
• Homebuyer Survey & Valuation
• Building Survey

Independent Surveys are carried out on behalf of private individuals. These report on the different proeprty elements to give advise on condition, items of repair and anticipated expenditure to cover repair of a residential property.

A Homebuyer Survey and Valuation is carried out on behalf of mortgage providers or private individuals. These reports are in a format drawn up by the Royal Institute of Chartered Surveyors to assist a home buyer:

• Make a reasoned and informed judgement on whether or not to proceed with the purchase.
• Assess whether or not the property is a reasonable purchase at the agreed price.
• On what decisions and actions should be taken before contracts exchange with the solicitors.

A Building Survey is carried out on behalf of private individuals. These report the elements which make up a building, comment os their condition and recommend necessary remedial works.
